Words can not describe how grateful my family and I are that we went with Kody and Melanie. Me and my family were moving from Florida to South Carolina. At first we went with a different moving company. To sum it all up, that was a huge mistake. The day before we were moving the original company showed up at our house at 6PM, also stating the truck that would be loaded would not be there until 8PM. Mind you, we have three young children. Not off to a good start. Then the gentleman tells us that it would take 21 days for our stuff to arrive. After they originally told us it would take four days. After that, he says for an extra charge they can guarantee it will be there in 4 days. It was lies on top of lies. We were starting to driving in less than 24 hours. What were we going to do? We didnt want to use this company that lied to us about almost everything. Most long distance moving companies needs a few weeks notice. But then my wife contacted Kody and Melanie. They instantly replied and said they could pick our stuff up the following morning, and have it to our new house over 8 hours away in two days. And thats exactly what they did! Less than 24 hours before moving Kody and Melanie saved us. They came to our house right when they said they would. Packed and disassembled. Loaded and left. They were in contact with us their entire way. HONESTLY, what other company would take on this ordeal with less than a days notice for a long distance three bedroom move? Probably nobody, except them. And, i forgot to mention. After my wife explained the situation with our first moving company, THEY LOWERED THE PRICE FOR US! I really cant put into words how grateful I am we went with them. A local family owned business that guarantees more that a big corporation. Theirs kids even help! Awesome. Amazing experience! I would HIGHLY recommend them for any moving family! Truly a blessing! THANK YOU KODY AND MELANIE!

I can't say enough good things about J&J Van Lines! They arrived on time and took great care of our belongings. They did not do any of the scam things that I had read about on the internet. Cody is honest, ethical, and a very hard worker. I highly recommend J&J Van Lines to take care of your move!

I can't say enough good things about Kody and his company! Had to move across the country and he was reliable and attentive to everything. When he said he would be there, he was. Moving was made simple. I highly recommend J&J Vanlines to anyone. 10 stars if I could!! Thank you

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to say this! Had the best experience moving from Chicago to Fort Collins. Move out was super quick and everyone was very very friendly. Melanie and Cody did a great job!! They were on top of it and went beyond by checking out apartment logistics beforehand. They even fixed furniture that was broken. They were always on time and efficient as well. They are also very friendly and great to talk to. I highly recommend J&J Vanlines.

We had the best experience with J&J Vanlines. They were on time, took very care of all our furniture. Wrapped all the pieces carefully. Took everything apart and put everything back together in their respective rooms. They all had great personalities and made our move stress free. I highly recommend J&J Vanlines for your move, in town or out of town. And the cost was very affordable.

Finding a good mover has to be one of the top five worst things to have to do! I moved in 2016 from NJ to Charleston and I had the worst experience of my life! In fact, the company I used actually bullied me into taking down my review by sending me fake court papers! My husband got so concerned that he told me that I should take it down. So, when I decided to move from Charleston to North Port, FL, I was beside myself trying to figure out the good from the not good movers. Then, I received a recommendation from my Mortgage Broker. He told me to call J & J. It was the best referral I have ever received! They were fair in price, because I had already received quotes. They were $100 more than my lowest quote. They were kind, easy to go through all of the steps associated with moving and above all polite and caring! They assured me over and over again that they would take care of my things and my wallet. The last company I used charged me double the quote once they arrived at my house in Charleston and refused to unload the truck without that double payment! I was a hostage! Ken and Kodi were amazing! They did everything they said that they would do! They honored their price, to the penny and again they were genuinely nice! In addition, when my stuff arrived in Florida, Melanie also joined Kodi to unload. She kicks butt when it comes to handling what seems to be a Man's job! She thoroughly impressed me! And everything came off the truck in the same condition that it was in when it went on the truck!!! Did I mention how kind they were? Overall, the experience was day and night compared to my first move! Do yourself a favor and start with J & J! I am certain that it will be a decision that you will never regret!!!

Lovely people with a wonderful business. I used their moving services to transport a leather couch and they delivered it within 5 days of purchase. (So speedy!) They’re also delightful to engage with and very responsive. Melanie kept me updated with same-day timing details so I knew when to expect her arrival. They’re also very gentle with their deliveries and mindful about packing things so they don’t get damaged. If you’re trying to decide on a moving company, I absolutely recommend these folks. They’ll move your stuff quickly AND make sure it all stay in perfect shape.

Our community had sold a pool table and the buyer hired JJ Vanlines. Cody showed up on time and he and his team moved the pool table quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Cody and his team. Very impressed. Excellent job.

Really great experience with J&J Vanlines from initial contact to delivery. Everyone was professional and friendly. Ken handled coordinating the delivery. Kody and David completed delivery and assembly. Each was wonderful to work with.
